Officials Did Not Adhere to Competition Rules: 'Zhoghovurd'
On April 19, 2022, the National Assembly ratified an agreement on the use of navigation seals for tracking transportation in the Eurasian Economic Union. This was reported by the daily 'Zhoghovurd'.
According to the results of the competition based on the agreement, 'ArmGhiPS' LLC was declared the winner. However, a number of officials did not adhere to the requirements presented to the participants in the competition, and the winner was declared by the commission without sufficient grounds for a participant that did not have the opportunity to win.
'Zhoghovurd' newspaper has approached the Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia to clarify whether there is any criminal case initiated regarding this incident. In response to the inquiry No. 115/6341-2026 on January 16, 2026, the Prosecutor's Office stated: 'On April 1, 2025, a criminal case was initiated based on the features of the 2nd part of Article 441 of the Criminal Code. An investigation is underway.'
Thus, the issues raised regarding the conduct of the competition are under the attention of law enforcement agencies, and the preliminary investigation is ongoing,” the newspaper writes.
