Ukraine's Complaint Is Groundless: HFF Appeals to UEFA
In response to a letter from the Football Federation of Ukraine, the Football Federation of Armenia (HFF) has appealed to UEFA, presenting the events that occurred before and during the Armenia-Ukraine match. This was announced on HFF's Facebook page.
The HFF has made observations stating that the Ukrainian side's complaint is unfounded. Further details will be provided later.
It is worth reminding that the Ukrainian Football Association (UFA) has sent an official complaint to UEFA's Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body (CEDB) regarding incidents that occurred after the group stage match between the national teams of Armenia and Ukraine in the 2026 Futsal European Championship.
The reason for the complaint was the emotional reaction of Armenian forward Denis Nevedrov, who plays at the club level for the Russian team Tyumen. According to the Ukrainian side, Nevedrov allegedly directed insults toward Ukrainian players after the final whistle. Additionally, the UFA has drawn attention to Nevedrov's posts on Instagram, which the association believes contained offensive emojis directed at the Ukrainian national team.
