Orbán Accuses Ukraine of Interfering in Hungary's Elections

The Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orbán, has claimed that Ukraine is attempting to interfere in the upcoming parliamentary elections in order to force a change of government.

“The Ukrainians have launched an attack. They are issuing threats and openly intervening in Hungary's elections. Their goal is to obtain resources as quickly as possible and join the European Union. As an EU member, Hungary has the right to say 'no'. Our patriotic government clearly states 'no'. We do not want Hungarian families' money to go to Ukraine, and we do not want Hungary to be drawn into the war,” he said.
