Mandatory Deadlines Established for Residence Permit Replacement in Russia
Foreign citizens are required to replace their residence permits in Russia after turning 14, 20, and 45 years old. This was announced by the migration service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to the service, the residence permit of a foreign citizen is among the documents that must be replaced upon reaching the ages of 14, 20, and 45.
The Ministry clarified that applications for the replacement of residence permits can be submitted to the local migration department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs or to the Federal State Unitary Enterprise of the Passport and Visa Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Those located in Moscow can apply at the Moscow State Budgetary Institution of the Multifunctional Migration Center.
Foreign citizens must have the necessary documents and the receipt for payment of the state fee. The Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasized that the application must be submitted within one month after reaching the age of 14, 20, or 45.
