American entrepreneur Elon Musk has called for a boycott of the ChatGPT chatbot amidst reports of user suicides. He made the statement on the X social platform, saying, “Don’t let your loved ones use ChatGPT.”

Musk’s comment referenced a publication that claimed the use of ChatGPT may be linked to at least seven user deaths, including minors. According to the report, in five instances, interactions with the chatbot led to suicides.

However, the publication did not provide details on the circumstances of these cases or establish a causal relationship.

It is important to note that ChatGPT was developed and launched by the American company OpenAI in 2022.
