Capital Expenditures Increased by 151 Billion Drams, Says Finance Minister
In 2025, budget revenues are expected to increase by 306 billion drams, while expenditures will rise by 350 billion drams. This was announced by Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan during a meeting with journalists.
"Capital expenditures have increased by 151 billion drams. Hovhannisyan added that the capital expenditures under the Ministry of Defense have risen by 86 billion drams, reaching 419 billion drams or over 1 billion dollars," the Minister said.
He further noted that capital expenditures in the economic block (excluding data from the Ministry of Defense and expenditures financed by international partners) increased by 81.7% or 70 billion drams. "The most significant impact has been from the construction work of schools," concluded the head of the Ministry of Finance.
