Cashless Behavior in Trade Has Changed Dramatically: Head of the State Revenue Committee

Budget collections are quite good, with double-digit growths that we regularly discuss in these sessions being maintained. On December 20, we will have a clearer picture based on the revenue results. This was stated by the Head of the State Revenue Committee, Edward Hakobyan, during a Government meeting in response to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's question about the state budget collections.

“The figures regarding cash registers are also quite positive. If we look at the number of receipts, there is an 18% growth, and there is an 11% increase in revenue. But the encouraging part is that the cashless behavior in trade has dramatically changed. Compared to these figures, we have a 52% increase in the number of cashless receipts, while revenues have increased by 31%. Most of these receipts and revenues are generated through cashless payments,” said the head of the SRC.
