Tax Revenues in the Budget Have Been Secured and Exceeded Predictions: Head of the State Revenue Committee

Tax revenues planned in the budget have been secured and exceeded predictions. Throughout the year, we managed to maintain a stable double-digit growth in tax revenues together with taxpayers, finishing the year with high results. This was stated by the Head of the State Revenue Committee, Edward Hakobyan, on his Facebook page.

"Thus, during 2025, we secured 2 trillion 725.2 billion drams in tax revenues and state duties with taxpayers, which is 334.3 billion drams or 14.5% more than the 2024 figure. The actual inflow of taxes and duties accounted for 100.2% against the 2 trillion 720.3 billion drams stipulated by the law on the state budget for 2025, while it was 99.8% against the revised figure of 2 trillion 729.4 billion drams due to changes in the law throughout the year. The actual inflow of taxes and duties also exceeded the projected figures for 2025 reflected in the Medium-Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) for 2026-2028 and the budgetary statement-explanation for 2026. The recorded figures again confirm that our implemented policy and the established human-centered environment, based on dialogue and partnership, effectively contribute to the formation of a conscientious and caring culture of tax payment. I express my gratitude to our taxpayers for their discipline, responsibility, and trust in us," he noted.
