Stepantsminda-Lars Highway Closed for Trucks

The emergency services report that the Spitak bends and the Noravan-Kapan highway are closed for vehicles with trailers. The Vardenyats Pass is closed for freight trucks with trailers, while it remains difficult to navigate for other vehicles.

The Dilijan bends are also difficult for vehicles with trailers, but the Berd-Chambarak highway is open for all types of vehicles.

There are patches of black ice on the roads in the regions of Aparan, Aragats, Dilijan, Sevan, Chambarak, Martuni, Gavar, Abovyan, Hrazdan, Nairi, Sisian, Goris, Ashotzk, and Amasia.

In the Ararat region, the areas of Baghramyan, Ani, Artik, Ashotzk, Amasia, Spitak, Tumanyan, Sevan, Gavar, Chambarak, Dilijan, Ijevan, Sisian, and Goris have experienced snowfall.

According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the North Ossetia's Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, the Stepantsminda-Lars highway is closed for trucks.
