Court Selects Preventive Measure for Yulia Tymoshenko

The Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office will request a bail of 50 million hryvnias for the release of MP Yulia Tymoshenko, who is suspected of corruption. This was announced by the spokesperson for SAPO, Olga Postolyuk, in a comment to the publication Babel.

According to her, the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office will also ask the court to impose certain obligations on the leader of the Batkivshchyna party, without specifying what those obligations will involve.

Olga Postolyuk clarified that prosecutors have filed the appropriate motion with the High Anti-Corruption Court. The court hearing regarding Tymoshenko's case, where the preventive measure will be determined, is likely to take place today.

Earlier, it was reported that Tymoshenko had accused President Zelensky of corruption. The leader of the Batkivshchyna party, Yulia Tymoshenko, stated on her Facebook page that urgent investigative actions at the party’s headquarters had concluded, which had continued throughout the night.
