Two Armenians Killed During Mass Protests in Iran, Says Sinanyan

Two Armenians have been killed as a result of mass protests and unrest in Iran. This was stated by Zareh Sinanyan, the Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs, during a conversation with journalists.

“One casualty has been confirmed, and the second seems to be confirmed as well. There are discussions about larger numbers, but we do not have any specific information,” he said.

He also noted that communication with the Armenian Embassy in Iran has been disrupted, and information is only being received through individuals arriving from Iran by flights.

Earlier, it was reported that nearly 2000 people have died during the protests in Iran.
