Turkey Seeks Signing of Final Peace Agreement Between Azerbaijan and Armenia - Fidan

The Zangezur corridor is crucial for establishing a connection between Azerbaijan and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. This was stated by Turkey's Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan during a press conference. He announced that Turkey desires the signing of a final peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

The Foreign Minister emphasized that Turkey is determined to normalize relations with Armenia. "Both Azerbaijan and Turkey, as well as Armenia, possess the necessary will for this," he said.

Hakan Fidan noted that he and Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov discussed the framework document for the implementation of Trump's TRIPP initiative. He added that the Turkish President has also been informed about the framework document. "The TRIPP framework document was announced during the visit of Armenia's Foreign Minister to Washington. We had a two-hour discussion on this issue with my colleague Jeyhun Bayramov. The prospects of the Azerbaijani side are important to us. President Erdogan has also been informed about this," Fidan stated.
