British Spy to Be Deported from Russia

The Federal Security Service of Russia has uncovered an unregistered British intelligence officer who has been conducting covert activities at the UK Embassy in Moscow. This was reported by RIA Novosti.

The FSB's public relations center has informed that the accreditation of this individual has been revoked, and he is required to leave Russian territory within two weeks.

According to the service, Gareth Samuel Davis, born on August 8, 1980, was dispatched to Russia as the Second Secretary of the Administrative and Economic Department of the UK Embassy in Moscow, while acting as a British intelligence employee.

The report states that on this basis, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in cooperation with the relevant authorities, has decided to revoke Gareth Samuel Davis's accreditation, and the British citizen must leave Russia within two weeks.

In connection with the incident, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has lodged a strong protest with the Chargé d'Affaires of the United Kingdom, emphasizing that Russia will not tolerate the activities of unregistered British intelligence officers within its borders.
