Mild Exacerbation of Vagif Khachatryan's Chronic Illness: Hospital Director

Vagif Khachatryan, who returned from captivity in Baku, is experiencing a mild exacerbation of his chronic illness. This was announced during a press conference by Mikael Adamyan, the director of the Norq-Marash Medical Center.

“The patient has been suffering from a chronic illness for the last 15 years. He was regularly checked in Stepanakert, and that issue was identified. We currently have a mild exacerbation of the situation, which is why he will be hospitalized, undergo relevant examinations, and we will understand the situation based on his condition,” he said.

It is noteworthy that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan previously informed through a post that four Armenians being held in Azerbaijan—Georg Sukyan, Davit Davtyan, Vigen Euljekjyan, and Vagif Khachatryan—were handed over to representatives of the Republic of Armenia by the relevant authorities of Azerbaijan at the Hakari Bridge.
