EU-US Relations Tense: Kaya Kallas

The EU's foreign affairs minister, Kaya Kallas, has stated that Europe's relations with the United States are "not so good," pointing to "obvious moments of disagreement."

"I want to address the state of transatlantic relations, which has been widely discussed recently. The United States is an irreplaceable ally, but it is also clear that our relations aren't as good as they could be; there are obvious disagreements on various issues," she said.

At the same time, Kallas emphasized that "Europe will not abandon its 80-year partnership," as it is beneficial for Brussels.
