Trump Should Focus on His Country, Not Iran: Khamenei

The Supreme Leader and spiritual leader of Iran, Ali Khamenei, has responded to U.S. President Donald Trump and commented on the protests raging in Iran.

Khamenei stated that only a handful of people believe in Trump and act on his orders. “Trump should know that tyrants like Pharaoh, Nimrod, Reza Khan, and Muhammad Reza have been overthrown at the peak of their arrogance. He too will be toppled. Trump should concentrate on the problems within his own country,” Khamenei noted.

According to him, the Islamic Republic was established thanks to the blood of hundreds of thousands of righteous people and will not retreat from those who sow destruction. “The people of Iran do not tolerate mercenaries serving foreign interests and consider such people rejected,” the spiritual leader of Iran stated.
