Papoyan Presents Proposed List of Goods to be Exported from Armenia to Azerbaijan
Yerevan and Baku are negotiating the potential export of various products from Armenia to Azerbaijan, including aluminum foil, raw materials for aluminum foil, ferromolybdenum, livestock, raw material for brandy, tobacco, and textile products. This was stated by the Minister of Economy of Armenia, Gevorg Papoyan, in an interview with Factor.am.
"There are also Azerbaijani companies that have expressed interest in importing specific goods. The Azerbaijani side has presented a list of products that they are interested in, and we have sent the quantities that we are able to export. Our list also includes flowers and greenhouse products like tomatoes and peppers. We have provided an approximate price," said Papoyan.
The Minister of Economy has not yet specified the timeframe for the first exports. According to him, this will take place in the period when Armenian and Azerbaijani companies reach an agreement.
