Lars Closed for All Vehicles

The Upper Lars checkpoint on the road from Georgia to Russia is closed for all vehicles, according to the Georgian Roads Department.

“Due to the danger of landslides, all vehicle traffic is prohibited on the Gudauri-Kobi section of the Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Lars international road,” the statement said.
