US Advises Citizens: Under No Circumstances Travel to Iran

The US Department of State has advised American citizens to refrain from traveling to Iran. The relevant statement was posted on the Department's Persian-language page on the social media platform 'X.'

The announcement highlights that the United States does not have an embassy in Tehran, and American citizens face serious risks in Iran, including terrorism, civil unrest, kidnappings, and arbitrary detentions.

"For your safety, under no circumstances travel to Iran," the Department's warning states.
