Trump Reveals Why Colombian President Called Him

U.S. President Donald Trump announced on the social media platform TruthSocial that Colombian President Gustavo Petro called him to discuss the drug-related situation.

The White House leader noted that it is a great honor for him to speak with Petro, who reached out to clarify the drug situation and any other disagreements that have arisen between the two countries.

Trump added that he appreciates the Colombian president's call and eagerly anticipates a future meeting with him. “Currently, preparations are underway between Secretary of State Marco Rubio and the Colombian Minister of Foreign Affairs. The meeting will take place at the White House in Washington,” Trump noted.
