Iran's Foreign Ministry Condemns U.S. Authorities

The United States' positions do not stem from concerns for the Iranian people but are aligned with a policy of maximum pressure, threats, and interference in Iran's internal affairs. The Iranian Foreign Ministry has strongly condemned the recent statements made by U.S. officials against the country, noting that they reflect ongoing hostility towards the Iranian people and are deliberately aimed at inciting unrest. This was reported by the Tasnim agency.

“The interventionist stance seeks to incite violence and terrorism and undermine stability in the country. According to the Iranian Constitution, peaceful protests are acknowledged, and the government has made every effort within the law to meet the legitimate public demands. Despite efforts to alleviate economic difficulties, a significant portion of these challenges stems from the comprehensive economic and financial war waged by the United States against the country through illegal and unjust sanctions.

Washington's actions against Iran have gone beyond economic pressure and include psychological warfare, media campaigns, the spread of false information, threats of military intervention, as well as incitement to violence and terrorism. We call on the international community to recognize the illegal and inhumane nature of the unilateral coercive measures imposed by the United States, noting that the sanctions directly affect the livelihoods and daily lives of Iranians and constitute crimes against humanity.

Iran will respond to foreign interventions with vigilance, relying on its Islamic heritage and strengthening national unity, and will not allow U.S. policy to disrupt its sovereignty, independence, and dignity,” the statement reads.
