I Exclude the Possibility That Any Opposition MP Has Relatives Who Haven't Received Benefits - Pashinyan

They say the government granted benefits to acquaintances and relatives, but now tell me, what percentage of those who received benefits do they represent? This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan regarding the allocation of benefits.

There are interesting headlines about tax legislations, saying the government granted benefits to relatives, acquaintances, and so on. Now let’s look at how many of those names are in the percentage of beneficiaries. This benefits system is called granting customs benefits in a dominant sector, and thousands of entrepreneurs have received these benefits, including those associated with the opposition.

The regulations of the government are such that the system operates automatically. During his press briefing, PM Pashinyan stated, “There is a module where entrepreneurs and companies fill in their data to apply for benefits. The government’s only role is to verify whether the data they submitted corresponds to reality. If it does, the government has no right to deny those benefits.”

Addressing the figures who received benefits, Pashinyan noted that the names in question are among those who received benefits, but they comprise only 2% of the entire list. “You are mentioning arbitrary names, and the names you have mentioned make up 2% of the thousands of companies that received benefits. If there are any among those companies that are friends of mine, then rest assured, there are also friends of yours. I exclude the possibility that there is any opposition MP or political figure whose relatives haven’t received any of these benefits. Yes, we have granted them and will continue to do so.”
