Russia and China Fear No NATO If the US is Not There, Trump Says

US President Donald Trump has stated that his country will continue to support NATO under any circumstances. He made the announcement on the Truth Social platform.

“Russia and China fear no NATO if the US is not there. We will always act for NATO, even if it does not act for us,” Trump emphasized.

The US President also noted that during his first term, he rebuilt the country’s armed forces and continues that process. He reminded that he had convinced member countries of the alliance to increase their defense spending from 2% to 5% of their GDP annually.

Earlier, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen stated that the US claims to Greenland could lead to the disintegration of NATO.
