Man Burns Citizen with Gasoline During Argument

The investigation into a criminal case initiated on the grounds of attempted murder has been completed by the Special Investigation Department of the RA Investigative Committee, which deals with particularly important cases. During the preliminary investigation of the criminal case, it was established that on May 9, 2025, a group of individuals went to the residence of A.M., hurled insults at him, after which he poured gasoline on one of them and set him on fire with a lighter.

A.M. has been subjected to public criminal prosecution under Article 155, Part 1 of the Criminal Code (attempted murder). As a preventive measure, he has been placed under house arrest and bail. The criminal case has been sent to the supervising prosecutor with an indictment conclusion. The preliminary investigation of the criminal case initiated on the grounds of hooliganism is still ongoing.
