Iran's Military Commander Threatens the US and Israel

The commander of the Iranian military, Major General Amir Hatami, has issued a stern warning to hostile nations, emphasizing that any misstep on their part will face resolute retaliation. He stated that the protests occurring in Iran are not within the purview of the US or Israel. This was reported by Tasnim.

In a message directed to the attendees of the Tehran Army Command and General Staff University, General Hatami criticized the rhetoric of Iran's adversaries and their interference in the internal affairs of the Islamic Republic. He pointed out that the current combat readiness of Iran's armed forces has significantly increased compared to the expected onset of war in June 2025.

He warned that any miscalculation by the enemy would lead to an even more decisive response, adding that Iran would “cut off the hand of any aggressor.” Hatami indicated that the intensification of hostile rhetoric directed at Iran is perceived as a threat and that its continuation will not go unanswered.

The Major General characterized stringent sanctions as part of the enemies' plans to harm the Iranian people through economic pressure. He noted that although Iran, like all countries, faces certain issues that require solutions, “the enemies pay special attention to harming the people, and this reality should not be overlooked.”

According to him, the means of livelihood for the Iranian people and their legitimate grievances have nothing to do with the US President or the “criminal Prime Minister of the Zionist regime.” Hatami also reminded that despite the protests, the people have chosen not to join the chaos and have not opted for the path that, according to him, the US President and Israeli Prime Minister desire.
