I Would Prefer the Role of Club Owner, Says Messi

The world champion of the Argentine national team and MLS champion, 38-year-old attacker Lionel Messi has revealed what he would like to do after ending his professional football career.

"I do not see myself in the role of a coach. I much prefer the idea of being a club manager, but if I had the choice, I would prefer the role of a club owner. The idea of having my own club, developing it from the ground up, giving young players the opportunity to grow, and achieving something significant is appealing," Messi is quoted by Ole.

Messi's contract with Inter Miami is set to last until December 31, 2028.
