I Reiterate Decisively, No Slovak Soldier Will Be Sent to Ukraine: Fico
Ofelya
Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico has stated that as long as he leads the government, no Slovak soldiers will be sent to Ukraine. This was reported by RIA Novosti.
“If a group of countries, for example, without Italy, the Czech Republic and others, wanted to send their troops to the territory of Ukraine, Slovakia cannot stop them. Nonetheless, I once again and decisively repeat that during my government’s tenure, no Slovak soldier will be sent to Ukraine,” he said.
Robert Fico's statement came against the backdrop of international discussions surrounding Ukraine, where individual countries are considering various forms of security and military assistance.
