Heavy Snowfall Causes Chaos Across Europe, Hundreds of Flights and Trains Canceled, 6 Dead

Abundant snow and ice have triggered widespread travel disruptions throughout Europe. According to BBC News, a series of incidents related to weather conditions across the continent have resulted in the deaths of 6 people. Due to adverse road conditions, 5 people died in two different regions of France, while a woman died in the capital of Bosnia, Sarajevo, where the snow accumulation reached 40 cm.

Hundreds of flights have been canceled across Europe, leaving thousands stranded at Paris and Amsterdam airports.
