Details Emerge on Maduro and His Wife's Injuries
Details regarding the injuries sustained by Maduro and his wife during the attempted kidnapping by U.S. forces have emerged. This was reported by CNN.
White House representatives have informed American lawmakers that both Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, were injured when they hit their heads while trying to hide from U.S. special forces attempting to arrest them.
Maduro and Flores attempted to flee and hide behind a heavy steel door inside their residence, but the door was too low, and they hit their heads while trying to escape. Members of the Delta Force unit subsequently arrested them and provided first aid after they were extracted from the complex.
Earlier reports indicated that Maduro had surrendered to U.S. troops. Later, the acting president of Venezuela addressed Trump in a call.
