Avanesyan Discusses Details on Universal Health Insurance System Visits

As of 14:00 today, a total of 11,651 visits have been registered under the universal health insurance system. This was announced on the Facebook page of Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan.

“I visited one of the patients who received medical assistance under the universal insurance, where an implantable cardioverter-defibrillator was installed, costing 1.6 million drams,” the post states.

Earlier, the spokesperson for the Minister had clarified details about the health insurance system that was launched on January 1.
