NATO Member States Must Not Attack or Threaten Each Other, Tusk Says

NATO member states must not attack or threaten each other, as doing so would render the alliance meaningless. This was stated by Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk while commenting on the declarations regarding the potential annexation of Greenland.

“No member of the North Atlantic Alliance should attack or threaten another member. NATO will lose its significance if conflicts or mutual aggression occur within the alliance,” Tusk emphasized.

He also expressed the view that no European state would accept any attempts to distort the essence of NATO. “Denmark can certainly count on the solidarity of all Europe; I have no doubt about that,” concluded the Polish Prime Minister.
