I Would Very Much Like to Personally Present the Nobel Prize to Trump: Machado

I would very much like to have the opportunity to personally present the Nobel Prize to U.S. President Donald Trump, said Nobel Prize laureate Maria Corina Machado.

"What he has done is a historic step, a significant advance towards the transition to democracy, and I want to relay this to the American people," Machado stated.

It is noteworthy that Maria Corina Machado, leader of the Venezuelan opposition, was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize on October 10. U.S. President Donald Trump was also a contender for the award.
