Venezuelan Acting President Appeals to Trump

Venezuelan acting president Delsi Rodriguez has made an appeal to U.S. President Donald Trump, stating that the peoples of both countries and the entire region deserve peace and dialogue, not war. This was reported by RIA Novosti.

“President Donald Trump, our people and our region deserve peace and dialogue, not war. This is the Venezuela I believe in, the Venezuela to which I have devoted my life. My dream is for Venezuela to become a great power,” she wrote on her Telegram channel.

It is noteworthy that the U.S. launched massive strikes against Venezuela on January 3, arresting President Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, and transferring them to New York.
