Venezuela's Interim President Proposes Collaboration to the U.S.

The acting president of Venezuela, Delsi Rodriguez, has announced that establishing balanced and mutually respectful relations with the United States is a priority for the country. She proposed that Washington work together on a collaborative agenda.

In Rodriguez's statement, it is mentioned that Venezuela is committed to the development of international relations based on the principles of sovereign equality and non-interference in the internal affairs of states. According to her, these principles guide the country's diplomacy with both the U.S. and other countries in the region, as well as with the international community.

"We prioritize the promotion of balanced and respectful international relations between the U.S. and Venezuela, as well as between Venezuela and the countries in the region, based on sovereign equality and non-interference," the statement reads.

Rodriguez also suggested that the U.S. work together on a cooperation agenda focused on mutual development that aligns with the norms of international law.

It is worth noting that former U.S. President Donald Trump previously stated that a situation could arise with Delsi Rodriguez that would be "worse than that of Nicolas Maduro."
