My Thoughts Are with Those Clergy Who Continue to Remain in Captivity: Robert Amsterdam
As the Armenian Apostolic Church celebrates the feast of the Nativity and Theophany, we reflect on the profound message of this season—a moment when light dispels darkness, bringing a message of hope, peace, and rebirth. This was stated by international human rights lawyer Robert Amsterdam.
“Throughout history, the Armenian people have demonstrated an extraordinary example of spiritual resilience, proving that faith and the human spirit can rise above even the harshest trials. On this sacred occasion, my thoughts are with those clergy who continue to remain in captivity, isolated from their followers during these holy days. Justice, like the light of this holiday, is unstoppable, and I am committed to the principle that it must be restored for all who suffer for their beliefs. May these festive days bring a new sense of hope and justice to the Armenian people. Merry Christmas to all my Armenian friends,” he remarked.
