Maduro Surrendered to American Forces, Donald Trump
Ofelya
US President Donald Trump asserts that Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro "immediately" surrendered to American forces at the time of his arrest. "Maduro surrendered immediately, and he did the right thing. He raised his hands and surrendered," Trump told reporters.
It is noteworthy that the US launched extensive strikes against Venezuela on January 3, arresting President Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, and transferring them to New York. Trump has stated that Maduro and Flores will appear in court as they have ties to "drug terrorist" organizations and pose a serious threat to the United States.
