Armenia Can Break Out of Current Deadlock, Says Azerbaijani President
Armenia will gain access to Iranian and Russian railways through Azerbaijan, stated Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. He mentioned that alongside construction work in the occupied Artsakh and the so-called "Eastern Zangezur," efforts will be made in Nakhchivan.
"Armenia can break out of the current deadlock. Roads will be opened between Azerbaijan and Armenia. Roads will be opened between Turkey and Armenia. Armenia will have access to Iranian railways through Nakhchivan, and to Russian railways through Azerbaijan. This is beneficial for Armenia as well. There should be no losing side here. At least from an economic and transportation standpoint, there will be no losers. If someone considers themselves politically defeated, that is, as they say, their problem. But if everyone looks at this issue from a pragmatic standpoint, they can see their own benefits," said Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
