679 Incidents Recorded in a Week: National Emergency Situations Service Data

From December 29, 2025, to January 4, 2026, a total of 679 incidents were registered at the National Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, of which 211 were classified as emergencies.

Specifically, the incidents included 78 fires, 58 cases of black ice, one explosion, one landslide, one discovery of a dead body, one search and rescue operation, one accident, two cases due to strong winds, two instances of munitions discovery, 13 heavy snow incidents, four snowdrifts, seven false alarms, 14 poisoning cases, six suicide attempts, 37 traffic accidents, as well as 256 domestic calls, 35 threats of fire outbreaks, and 22 false fire alarms, along with 140 other cases.

Due to weather conditions and various other factors, 108 incidents of vehicle immobilization were recorded. Rescuers provided assistance to 175 citizens and relocated 116 vehicles that were blockaded on the roads to safety.

During the past week, 114 people were injured, and six lost their lives. Three individuals were rescued as a result of emergency operations.
