Upper Lars Closed to All Types of Vehicles

The route from Georgia to Russia via the "Upper Lars" checkpoint is closed to all types of vehicles. This information is provided by the Georgian Department of Highways.

“Due to the danger of snowmelt, traffic for all vehicles has been prohibited on the Gudauri-Kobi section of the Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Lars international significance highway,” the statement reads.
