Severe Snowstorm: Impassable Roads and Details

As of December 30 at 9:00 AM, the road from the Jermuk intersection to the section known as "Zanger," as well as the roads connecting Noravan-Ltsen-Tatev, Shinuhayr-Tatev-Kapan, Kajaran-Meghri, and Vanadzor-Dilijan are closed to vehicles with trailers. This information has been provided by the Road Department.

The roads from Tigranashen-Zangakatun and Yelpin-Yeghegnadzor-Vaik are difficult to navigate for vehicles with trailers. Due to the severe snowstorm, the Ttujur-Navur road is closed to all types of vehicles.

Other interstate and republican roads remain open. However, there are patches of black ice on the roads in the regions of Aparan, Aragats, Spitak, Tumanyan, Tashir, Sevan, Jambarak, Martuni, Gegharkunik, Abovyan, Hrazdan, Nairi, Vaik, Sisian, Goris, Ashotq, Amasia, and Vanadzor.

Road construction workers are actively engaged in cleaning and salting the roads. Drivers are urged to be cautious, strictly adhere to traffic rules, and use winter tires exclusively.
