Russian Military Knows How, What, and When to Respond: Peskov on Attacks Against Putin's Residence
The attack on the residence of the President of Russia in the Nizhny Novgorod region is aimed at undermining the efforts of U.S. President Donald Trump regarding the resolution of the Ukraine conflict. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, the official spokesperson of the Kremlin. According to him, following the attack on the presidential residence, Russia will tighten its negotiating position on the issue of Ukraine.
Peskov noted that both Putin and Trump continue their dialogue based on trust and that Russia does not intend to withdraw from the negotiation process.
The Kremlin spokesperson declined to answer a question regarding Putin's whereabouts at the time of the attack on his residence in the Nizhny Novgorod region, stating, "This topic is not subject to public discussion." He added that the response from Moscow to the attempted attack on the Ukrainian presidential residence will be provided by the military: "Russian military personnel know how, what, and when to respond."
