South Korean President Announces Improvement of Relations with Russia
Relations between South Korea and Russia may soon improve. This was stated by President Yoon Suk-yeol during a conversation with journalists in response to a question from a RIA Novosti correspondent. “It seems that relations with Russia will soon improve,” said Yoon.
Earlier, the South Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs had repeatedly announced that it maintains “necessary contact” with Russia, primarily through the South Korean ambassador in Russia.
On his first day back to work after returning to the historic complex known as the Blue House, Yoon visited the press center where accredited journalists work. The presidential office officially resumed its operations at the historic "Chunhwa Dae" (Blue House) complex located in the old center of Seoul starting from December 29 at 00:00. The return occurred approximately three years and seven months after the presidential office was relocated to the complex of the Ministry of Defense in Yongsan during the administration of former President Yoon Suk-yeol.
