Iran Launches Three Satellites from Russian Spaceport
A Russian Soyuz-2.1b launch vehicle has successfully lifted off from the Vostochny spaceport, deploying satellites from several countries into orbit. This was reported by the press service of Roscosmos.
The main payload of the rocket consists of two satellites, AySt-2T No. 1 and No. 2, designed for Earth's stereo imaging. Additionally, around 50 other various devices have been sent into space, including scientific and technological satellites belonging to Russian organizations and allied countries, with participation from Iran, Belarus, and Ecuador.
Among the satellites launched are educational satellites developed in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Samara, Nizhny Novgorod, the Amur region, and Yakutia. These devices are intended for educational and research purposes.
The satellites launched from Vostochny will be utilized for Earth remote sensing, investigating electromagnetic radiation, monitoring navigation in the World Ocean, receiving signals from the Internet of Things transmitters, as well as studying the effects of the space environment on living organisms.
