The Number of Clergymen Choosing the Path of Renewal is Increasing: Galjyan
I believe that every person and every clergyman, if they have mistakes, has the right to acknowledge those mistakes and change. We see that many clergymen are taking this path, and especially in Christianity, the ideas of forgiveness and giving opportunities are emphasized many times.
This was stated by Armen Galjyan, the head of the Civil Contract faction of the Yerevan Council, during a conversation with journalists regarding Archbishop Navasard Kchoyan and other clergymen who joined Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
“They have recorded the issues present in the church, which means they acknowledge the mistakes that have occurred and are on the path of correcting those mistakes, while in this case, Ktrich Nersisyan does not want to admit the mistakes and continues on the path he has been on until now,” he said. Galjyan also expressed confidence that the number of clergymen choosing the 'path of renewal' will continue to grow.
