Armenia is Being Unblocked, Intense Discussions Regarding ‘TRIP’ Are Ongoing: Mirzoyan

We are working with the American side in a more detailed manner, and I hope we will reach a point where construction will begin on the ground in the second half of 2026. This was stated by Armenia’s Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan during a broadcast on Public Television.

“Armenia is being unblocked, intensive discussions are underway with the American side regarding ‘TRIP’, and next year construction will begin. Through ‘TRIP’, Armenia will connect to external markets,” emphasized Mirzoyan.

Responding to a question about Russia and Iran’s opposition to the ‘Trump Route’, Mirzoyan stated, “The unblocking has raised certain questions in Iran; however, answers have been provided. Now, we see opportunities in infrastructure, rather than problems.”
