Possible Location of 'Oreshnik' Deployment in Belarus Revealed: Reuters

The Russian 'Oreshnik' missile system, recently moved to Belarus, is likely stationed near the former 'Krichev-6' military airport. This conclusion has been drawn by American researchers analyzing satellite images from Planet Labs, according to Reuters.

Representatives from the Middlebury Institute, Jeffrey Lewis and Michael Duytsman, along with expert Decker Everly, stated that they can assert with about 90 percent confidence that the mobile launch systems of the 'Oreshnik' complex are located near the city of Krichev in the Mogilev region of Belarus. The city is situated in the eastern part of the country, close to the Russian border with Smolensk region.

According to a source from the media outlet, the researchers' estimates generally align with the conclusions of U.S. intelligence agencies. However, no official confirmation regarding this deployment has been published.

It is noteworthy that on December 18, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko announced that the country had placed the Russian 'Oreshnik' missile system with nuclear warheads on combat duty.
