Snowfall: Some Roads Closed

The Rescue Service reports that roadways across the Republic of Armenia are mostly passable. However, the roads from the 'Amberd' high-altitude meteorological station to Amberd Fortress and from the 'Kari Lake' are closed in the Aragatsotn region.

Snow is falling in the regions of Hrazdan, Charentsavan, and Chambarak. Drivers are urged to travel exclusively with winter tires.

According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia's Emergency Management Department and the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Federation's Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.
