Putin Issues Warning Statement: Russia Will Not Abandon the Agreement
Putin has stated that Russia will not abandon the agreement to transfer complete control of Donbass. During a meeting of the State Council, the Russian president focused on the negotiations surrounding the peace plan with the US and Ukraine, according to Kommersant citing sources.
He spoke about the agreements reached in Anchorage, the American plan, and the positions that were, so to speak, quickly coordinated. He also mentioned that the Americans, as a result of negotiations with Europeans, have abandoned some of their proposals, calling this a sign of weakness.
According to sources, Putin emphasized that the Russian side is still ready to make the concessions agreed upon in Anchorage. "Thus, the question is that 'Donbass is ours.' It was noted that the issue of the 'Kramatorsk-Constantinovsk-Slavyansk hub is not subject to discussion.' However, partial territorial exchanges on the Russian side are also not ruled out," the article states.
