Extraordinary Case: 4 Minors Enter Kindergarten, Damage Property and Steal Items
An extraordinary incident has occurred in the Ararat region. Four minors entered the Artashat No. 4 kindergarten, damaging property and toys, and took several toys and perfumes before leaving.
This was reported by Shamshyan.com. Auroranews.am contacted the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia for more details regarding the incident. They stated, "On December 16, the police department of Artashat was informed that several minors had entered the kindergarten No. 4 in Artashat and damaged the property of the institution. Following measures taken, it was established that on December 14, around noon, four minors had pushed open a window to gain entry into the kindergarten. One of them broke the kindergarten's property, damaged the toys, and then they took several toys, perfumes, and left."
The minors were summoned to the police department with their parents, where they confessed to the act after explanatory work. The documents compiled have been sent to the investigative department," reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Auroranews.am also contacted the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia, where they informed us, "A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident under the third part of Article 254 of the Criminal Code (theft, committed by means of technical devices, specially adapted equipment, or in any other way by destroying, damaging, or circumventing protections or systems intended for the protection or preservation of property). An investigation is underway," the agency stated.
