Driver Who Dragged Dog from Vehicle Fined 900,000 Dram

Auroranews.am previously published a report showcasing a video that circulated online, demonstrating how a driver had tied a dog to their vehicle and dragged it along. The incident occurred in the town of Pyunik, located in the Kotayk Province.

Thanks to the operational work of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and police officers, the driver was identified and apprehended. Auroranews.am was present at the trial of the individual who dragged the animal from the vehicle, which took place in the city of Abovyan. It is reported that the citizen of Pyunik was found guilty of such cruel treatment towards the animal and was fined 900,000 Armenian Dram.
